In close proximity to the Duisburg main railway station, in an area known as Quartier 1, Aurelis Real Estate is realizing a five-storey office building (approx. 11,400 m²) that will be used by the financial service provider Consors Finanz.
The project comprises a V-shaped building that will be constructed behind the south wing of the station. It will have a transparent entrance structure connecting the two legs and a single-level underground car park.
Earthmoving work already started in October 2020 and shell construction work is underway. The interior fit-out is planned for August 2021.
Upon completion of the project in the autumn of 2022, Aurelis will apply for certification of the property with a Gold Certificate from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
